In brief
From stop-start marketing to a continuous engine - and an AWS partnership finally pulling its weight.
02
The Challenge
PolarSeven had the credibility - an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner with deep technical expertise - and marketing that ran in bursts. Contractors and agencies came and went with little continuity, leadership kept absorbing marketing tasks on top of their day jobs, and sales drove go-to-market almost alone.
The AWS relationship carried the same pattern. MDF - AWS's co-funding for partner marketing - was complex enough to navigate that by the CEO's own estimate the firm was accessing around half of what it could. The business wanted structure, AWS fluency and executional depth - not another round of ad-hoc support.
"We wanted someone who already understood how the AWS beast works. We didn't have to explain anything."
CEO, PolarSeven
03
The Approach
The transformation ran layer by layer, rebuilding the marketing surface and the systems behind it:
Full brand identity transformation - guidelines, tone of voice, design system
Website rebuilt on the new brand, with UX and messaging designed for sales conversations - structured so the team could manage it internally
AWS Meetup community scaled with a repeatable process for event creation, promotion and reporting
MDF and AWS relationship management - streamlined access, aligned joint campaigns, reduced complexity
The thread through all of it: continuity. A consistent monthly rhythm replacing the burst-and-stall pattern, so the brand, the community and the AWS relationship all compounded instead of resetting.
04
The Results
Marketing stopped being start-stop. The new identity and website matched the firm's technical credibility, and the engine kept running month over month.
The measurable shifts:
Meetup community scaled to 5,000+ members and became a recognised brand channel among AWS practitioners
MDF utilisation roughly doubled against where it started
A new internal marketing hire now leads in-house, on top of the foundations built together
"We built momentum. Marketing stopped being start-stop and finally became a continuous engine."
CEO, PolarSeven
"Really understood our business and was so easy to work with. From campaign planning to execution, added a lot of value - a genuine extension of our team."
Larissa Oliveira, Consulting Services Manager, PolarSeven
